Wheelchair Access
All Shropshire Hills Shuttles are able to carry standard sized wheelchairs, but it is essential to book. Please contact us on 01743 253030 (during office hours) to make a wheelchair booking or for further information. We cannot guarantee a place for you otherwise.
If you have a larger than average sized wheelchair, we will need to check the dimensions and weight to ensure we can accommodate it.
A Traveller's Tale...
Michael contacted us to book a seat on the Shuttles bus. He was interested in several of the attractions on the routes and so contacted the office on 01743 235030 with his planned itinerary for the day. We were then able to write an individual timetable for him, with which bus he needed to take and at what time he needed to be ready at each stop.
Michael started at the Craven Arms Discovery Centre taking the Secret Hills Shuttle to Bridges. He stopped there for a picnic lunch, and then took the Stiperstones Shuttle to enjoy the all ability trail at the National Nature Reserve. Then it was back on the bus to be dropped off at the Bog Centre where he had a welcome cup of tea.
He returned via Bridges to the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre to pick up his road transport.

Michael's picture shows him in his 'NIPPI' which he used to get to the Shuttle bus. It did not come on to the bus with him, though he was in his wheelchair.
