Audio Commentary

Why not take a virtual tour of the Shropshire Hills?

Close your eyes and listen as snippets of information are given on the surrounding countryside, features and history of the area you pass by on the Stiperstones Shuttle bus. There are a number of references to Mary Webb and Malcolm Saville - both of whom were inspired by this area in their writing (for information about Mary Webb trails from the Shropshire Tourism website follow these links Trail 3 and Trail 4 - both are covered by the Shuttle buses).

We hope that hearing these recordings will inspire you to visit and take a trip on the buses in 2008. If that's not possible then we hope you will enjoy your virtual experience. The maximum audio file size is around 1.5 MB.

The text is also available as a 61 KB Word document to download here and enjoy.   commentary
